may 2021 wrap-up

Hi friends! Happy June! Things are going well here and I’m chugging through the largest book I’ve ever read, The Way of Kings. Expect a shorter June wrap-up, most likely. May was also a big month because I finally started my YouTube channel! It’s going to be a combination of beauty talk and book talk – my channel is called Paperbacks and Palettes and you can find it here. If I don’t have a book video up right now, it’ll be up soon! I’m going to be doing a May wrap-up video, so if you want more of a quick review on each book, go check it out!

This month I read four books: three from my shelf, and one ARC. One of the books was fantasy, one was a thriller, one was nonfiction history, and one was a contemporary. That’s a total of 1,982 pages this month, and the average rating on Goodreads between the four titles is a 4.26 out of 5 stars (holy cow, what a high average!).

Here’s some more data I visualized from this month:

Depending on when you’re reading this some or all of the reviews may not be posted. Check back for continued posting as I get caught up on my reviews!

In case you missed any (or all) of my book reviews for this month, I’ll include them below in order from most favorite read to least favorite. Click on the cover to see the review.

#1 – The Stalker
#2 – Invisible Monsters
#3 – Midnight in Chernobyl
#4 – A Court of Silver Flames

Be sure to check my archive page to see what books I’ve been reading in June! It really may just be only The Way of Kings haha.
